# Axxes neemt Euricom over en verstevigt zijn positie in software ontwikkeling

Axxes levert IT-consulting diensten op het vlak van softwareontwikkeling, software testing en system engineering. Euricom ontwikkelt op zijn beurt software op maat in .NET en JavaScript. De onderneming werd in 2004 overgenomen door Dimension Data, dat later opging in de Japanse telecomgroep NTT.

De overname past volgens Axxes in de strategie van het bedrijf om met hoogopgeleide it-experten impact te hebben bij klanten. "Met de jarenlange ervaring en skills van Euricom zullen onze consultants de meest innovatieve projecten aan kunnen bieden", stelt Benjamin Goesaert, Managing Director bij Axxes.

Axxes kende de voorbije jaren een organische groei van 15 à 20 procent. Door de toenemende digitalisering voelde het bedrijf zich genoodzaakt om op verschillende domeinen de juiste kennis in huis te halen. Om aan die vraag te voldoen, wil de groep haar groei versnellen met gerichte overnames in België en later ook in Nederland. Dit gebeurt vandaag onder de vlag van Tech Tribes.

Euricom telt 70 software engineers met een focus op Microsoft- en JavaScript-technologie; profielen die volgens het bedrijf aansluiten bij de kennisdomeinen van Axxes. Door de overname ontstaat een groep met een team van 450 experts en een omzet van bijna 50 miljoen euro, waarmee het tot de grootste IT-consulting bedrijven in België behoort.

Tech Tribes laat verder weten dat de groep in 2020 nog eens op zoek gaat naar 50 nieuwe it-medewerkers.
