Tech Tribes takes a stake in Open Source expert, Kangaroot.

Today we work with 700 digital experts on digital transformation for our customers in Belgium and the Netherlands. We develop innovative solutions, give advice and guide transformations. We help our clients with IT strategy, software engineering and their hybrid platforms.

From Axxes, Euricom and HCS Company a growing cooperation has been established in recent years, where the added value manifests itself more and more strongly. Today, Tech Tribes is proud to announce that we can welcome a new tribe to our home of digital experts.

Kangaroot, with strong expertise in Open Source and Linux solutions, joins our group. Since 2000 Kangaroot is the specialist in Linux and Open Source solutions, from Antwerp they work with 20 consultants on open source projects for customers such as Brussels Airport Company, TVH, Bank Delen and Jan De Nul.

After the sale of our data center activities in 2021, it was logical to also redesign the shareholding within the organization. We had listed a number of parameters that served as guidelines in the search for a new partner: A local party, with an affinity for Open Source and respect for the existing culture were the most important. And we found that amply at Tech Tribes.

The fact that we can now accelerate our growth plans within the group is the icing on the cake.
