Axxes acquires Euricom and strengthens its position in software development

Axxes provides IT consulting services in software development, software testing and systems engineering. Euricom, in turn, develops custom software in .NET and JavaScript. The company was acquired in 2004 by Dimension Data, which later merged into Japanese telecom group NTT.

According to Axxes, the acquisition fits into the company's strategy of using highly skilled it experts to make an impact with clients. "With Euricom's years of experience and skills, our consultants will be able to offer the most innovative projects," stated Benjamin Goesaert, Managing Director at Axxes.

Axxes experienced organic growth of 15 to 20 percent in recent years. Due to increasing digitalization, the company felt the need to bring in the right knowledge in different areas. To meet that demand, the group wants to accelerate its growth with targeted acquisitions in Belgium and later also in the Netherlands. This is happening today under the banner of Tech Tribes.

Euricom has 70 software engineers with a focus on Microsoft and JavaScript technology; profiles that the company believes match Axxes' knowledge domains. The acquisition creates a group with a team of 450 experts and a turnover of nearly 50 million euros, making it one of the largest IT consulting companies in Belgium.

Tech Tribes further announces that the group will be looking for another 50 new it employees by 2020.
